Membership

Dues are $10/individual; plus $2 for each family member over 12 years old, at the same address.

Free Plants:

Our club uses its funds to purchase door prizes, birthday, and new member plants.

Newsletter:

Our monthly newsletter contains articles about club activities, plants, and area events involving plants.

Annual Show & Sale:

Every April we have a show and sale in lieu of a regular meeting, and may consist of displays only or judged plant exhibits. The show provides the public a chance to see and buy great looking cacti and succulents; and gives our members an opportunity to show off their plants and add hard to find plants to their collections.

Special Events:

An annual holiday potluck dinner is held at the South Coast Botanical Gardens at the December meeting. “Plant of the month” mini-show winners are announced and awarded prizes - more plants! And there is a gift exchange.

Field trips are occasionally organized to interesting gardens and nurseries.

Cactus Garden:

Club Members are encouraged to volunteer for the South Coast Botanical Gardens to work on their Cactus Garden.
